I’m a Master’s student in Computer Science at UMass Amherst, planning to pursue a PhD in machine learning for computational biology. My interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and biology, spanning protein and genomic foundation models, ML for drug discovery, and variant-effect prediction. In the SAGE Lab, I’m working on machine-learning approaches to forecast antibiotic resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. More broadly, I’m interested in developing machine learning methods for problems across computational biology.
