Shreeja is a senior Mathematics and Public health double major in UMass Amherst and an aspiring biostatistician. She aspires to utilize biostatistical methods to conduct research to address health issues specific to women such as breast cancer and women’s reproductive health. Her current research involves exploring the costs and benefits tradeoff in various methods of DNA sequencing for diagnosing antibiotic resistance in bacterial pathogens.
